We are so excited to be headed back to the Jacob K. Javits Center from January 26–28, 2018 for another amazing weekend celebrating Broadway, theatre, and the inspiring power of live performance. Here is a quick rundown of the changes coming for BroadwayCon attendees in 2018.
(Don’t forget: Tickets for BroadwayCon 2018 go on sale April 20, beginning at 1 p.m. Eastern.)
New Special Guests
We’ve already announced the first 16 special guests for BroadwayCon 2018 (including Donna Murphy, Kelli O’Hara, Joe Mantello, and Andrew Chappelle) with many more coming soon! See the full list of announced guests here.
Tickets are cheaper!
A general ticket to BroadwayCon now costs only $195, and you can get a one-day experience for only $65! We also have two levels of premium ticket types with a variety of extra perks and benefits! Learn more about BroadwayCon ticket types.
The Platinum Pass
New this year, the Platinum Pass is our very-limited VIP experience and grants you guaranteed, reserved premium seating for all program rooms, guaranteed fast-track access to all autographs and photographs, an exclusive meet-and-greet with BroadwayCon guests, and many more amazing perks. Only 30 Platinum Passes are available so do not wait to get yours!
BroadwayCon excited to offer high school, college, and postgraduate students with a valid student ID a 10% discount on General Passes and Day Passes with promotional code STUDENTIX. Please note that you will be required to enter your school affiliation and student ID number during checkout and must bring your student ID with you to check-in for the event. BroadwayCon staff may verify the student information with your school’s administration at any time before the event. Any tickets purchased with false information will be canceled immediately without refund.
As a thank you for their continued support, we are happy to offer past attendees of BroadwayCon 2016 and 2017 early access to tickets! Past attendees will receive an email at 1 p.m. on Wednesday, April 19th with instructions on how to get presale tickets to BroadwayCon 2018!
Please note that we can only offer a pre-sale to those attendees who purchased tickets directly through BroadwayCon, and not on a third-party site. Tickets for BroadwayCon 2018 will go on sale to the general public on April 20, beginning at 1 p.m. Eastern.
Seating in the MainStage is general admission, with the exception of the Platinum Pass. While the MainStage is much larger than the largest Broadway theater (we’re even bigger than the Gershwin!), there may be certain, highly popular events for which the MainStage reaches capacity. When the MainStage reaches capacity, we will stop allowing entry by General or Day Pass-holders. Gold and Platinum Pass-holders are always guaranteed a seat in the room — even when the doors are closed to other attendees. There will be a volunteer stationed outside the MainStage to help Gold passes find a seat somewhere in the room, or to assist Platinum Pass-holders to their reserved seating area at the front. There is no reserved seating for Gold Pass-holders.
Speed Up On-Site Check-In — Receive Your Badge in the Mail!
We’ll be mailing all BroadwayCon badges to our attendees approximately five weeks prior to the event. When purchasing your ticket, you’ll be asked for your mailing address. We’ll send your credential in the mail, and you’ll be able to bring it with you to check-in on-site! Just scan your badge at one of our kiosks and you’re free to explore the convention!
(Please remember your badge! There will be a $25 fee for replacing a lost or missing badge on-site. Tickets purchased after December 22, 2017 will also be subject to the $25 on-site pickup fee, so be sure to buy your tickets early!)
