Autograph and photograph experiences

Meet your favorite Broadway stars at BroadwayCon!

For BroadwayCon 2022, we’ve reimagined our autograph and photograph experiences! This year, instead of a lottery system, autograph and photograph experiences will be available for a small fee. Select special guests and casts will be participating in autograph and photograph experiences and all tickets will include a donation to a charitable organization that supports the theatre community.

Participating guests and shows will be announced soon. Autograph and photograph experience tickets will go on sale in the weeks prior to the event.

Frequently Asked Questions

Will I have to wear a mask during my photo session?

For the safety of our special guests, attendees, and staff, masks are required during all BroadwayCon programming, including photo sessions, at this time.

How many items can I have signed?

For individual autographs, each autograph ticket is good for one signature for one attendee. If you wish to have multiple items signed, you must purchase additional tickets.

For cast autographs, each autograph ticket is good for one signature per participating cast member for one attendee. We strongly encourage you to have a single item signed by all participating members of the cast, rather than individual items for each cast member.

Only the ticket holder will be permitted to wait in line for autograph sessions, except in cases of a person needing medical assistance or a parent or guardian accompanying a minor child.

If there are multiple people at the same session, can I have them each sign something different?

While we encourage you to have one single item signed by all cast members, different guests can sign different things. We only ask that this does not slow down the process! You should have everything ready to be signed when you walk up to the table out of respect for both our special guests and other attendees’ time. However, each special guest can sign only one item.

How many people can be in each photo?

Each ticket to a photograph session is good for one photo. Up to two people may be in each photo. Please note that this is a change from previous years! If you plan to bring a friend, ONE person must have a ticket to the session. If you would like to have more than two ticketed attendees in the photo, additional photograph ticket purchases will be required. For children, please refer to the BroadwayCon age restrictions regarding ticket requirements.

May I take a photo of the guest while they are signing my item?

Personal photo/video recording will not be permitted during autograph sessions.

May I have an item signed during my photography session?

Autographing and personal photo/video recording will not be permitted during photography sessions.

When should I line up?

Attendees who have a ticket to the autograph or photograph session may line up in the Autograph and Photograph Area no more than 10 minutes prior to the designated time on your ticket, which may be different from the start time of the session. There is no need to line up early and lines that begin earlier will not be honored. Everyone who has purchased a ticket will be granted access to the appropriate session. You must arrive at least 10 minutes prior to the scheduled end of the session to be allowed access.

Will I be able to give a gift to the guest?

All gifts should be given to the BroadwayCon staff before you go up to meet the special guest. We will give them their collection of gifts after their session. Please do not bring food items as a gift, as these cannot be accepted.

I have a Platinum Pass for BroadwayCon. Do I need to purchase autograph and photograph experience tickets?

Platinum Passes will need to reserve your complimentary ticket ahead of the session to guarantee your experience through our ticketing platform, but you will not be charged for it. Please note that this is a change from previous years! Platinum Pass holders are also guaranteed front-of-line access at all autograph and photograph sessions.

You may bring a friend with you to be in your photo, but for autographs, the one-item per guest rule does apply and you will only be allowed through each line one time. You may not use your Platinum Pass to grant access to an autograph session for a friend. Any questions regarding the autograph and photograph process should be directed to your BroadwayCon Concierge at

I have a Gold Pass for BroadwayCon. Do I need to purchase autograph and photograph experience tickets?

Every Gold Pass holder is guaranteed their choice of 3 autographs or photographs, which you will need to reserve through our ticketing platform free of charge. If you are interested in additional autographs and photos, then you will need to purchase these separately. Your BroadwayCon Concierge will reach out to you via email prior to autograph and photograph tickets going on sale with instructions on how to choose your 3 guaranteed sessions. You can reach the BroadwayCon Concierge by emailing

Will you provide the item for the guest to sign or should I bring an item?

BroadwayCon will not provide headshots or other items for you to have signed so we suggest you bring something. The BroadwayCon Marketplace will also have many items for sale that you may wish to have signed by our special guests. However, we will supply the sharpies (black or silver ink only, please plan your item accordingly)!

May parents and children wait in line together for autograph and photograph sessions, even if they do not both have a ticket?

Attendees under the age of 18 may bring one adult with them through the autograph or photograph line. However, for autograph sessions only one person may go up to the signing table and the one item per ticket rule still applies. For all photograph sessions, a ticket is good for one photo with up to two people. We ask that only one parent or guardian who will not be included in the photo wait in line with groups of attendees under the age of 18. Medical aides are permitted to accompany the attendee in all circumstances.

How do I receive my photo?

Within 14 days after BroadwayCon, we will email you a link to a website where you will be able to download your photograph.

I expect to get a BroadwayCon ticket as a holiday gift, will I still be able to purchase tickets for autographs and photograph sessions?

Yes, we plan to open ticket sales for autograph and photograph experiences approximately four weeks prior to BroadwayCon, tentatively early-June, so that attendees who receive BroadwayCon tickets as a holiday gift also have the opportunity to purchase autograph and photograph experiences.
